Job Description Leading Saco based Property Management Company is seeking an experienced maintenance / facilities technician for multiple commercial and residential properties in the greater southern Maine area. Full time position; hourly pay commensurate with experience. • Must possess strong mechanical and carpentry knowledge as well as general knowledge of preventative maintenance, light plumbing, electrical, HVAC and unit turnover work. • Must have ability to work independently, without supervision, following written and oral directions. • Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, and strong work ethic. • Must constantly adhere to all safety rules and OSHA regulations. • Must have basic hand tools. • Must have and be willing to use reliable personal vehicle. Pick-up truck preferred. Mileage reimbursement provided. • Physical requirements - Lift up to 50lbs; work standing up for 4 hours at a time; safely climb ladders up to 20 feet; work in tight spaces. • Required to perform routine building repairs and grounds maintenance to include, but not limited to, plumbing fixtures, carpentry repairs, flooring, drywall, painting, and other various activities as directed. • Inspect properties to assure quality standards are being adhered to. • Performing other related tasks as required or assigned. • Be on-call on a rotating basis. • Experience using business computer systems and on-line database systems.
