Female lead vocals wanted for San Diego band. Please read the entire ad before responding. About us: We play several genres, rock, covers, blues, jazzy/funk. We play the usual favorites, but mix in a ton of lesser played, but popular tunes. We also have fun with tunes by Gnarles Barkley and Tom Jones. We have connections with venue owners and are setting up gigs all over San Diego and into Orange County. We're hoping for 2 gigs a month. And open mics both in North County and San Diego. What we want: A vocalist that can handle a wide variety of songs and wants to be an equal partner in our band. This is the most important thing, we don’t care if you don’t have a ton of experience, and we do not require a pile of YouTube videos, if you can sing, and you want to audition, let us know. We are looking for a dedicated band member who wants to promote and play with the band. What we are looking to avoid: We don’t want a hired gun who has a bunch of different projects. We want OUR lead singer. We don’t want a person who cannot commit to rehearsals and shows. We also don't want drama. We are a fun group of people and take our playing seriously, as well as take our fun seriously.
