We are dedicated to growing within as we see our company’s future directly related to our employee’s success. We are looking to hire a full-time Class A driver/laborer for our demolition crew. This is a seasonal position April - November. We work primarily in Mpls/St. Paul and surrounding suburbs. Job starts around 6:30am and ends when the day is completed M-F. Benefits: Compensation: $40+ (depending on experience) Paid Every Week Simple IRA with Match Overtime after 40 Hours Weekends Off Job Responsibilities: Demo and removing concrete and other materials with a skid-steer and/or hand tools (depends on scope of project) Installing rough grades (class#5) Driving to disposal sites (daily) Qualifications: - Must have experience working with concrete or excavation (landscaping experience is acceptable) - Need to have experience operating skid-steer, small excavators and/or other equipment. - Must be able to handle physical labor (wheelbarrows, shoveling, jobsite cleaning-up, moving materials by hand, involvement in pour, and general physical labor for construction). - Be able to load and unload equipment safely and without assistance. - Can operate truck according to applicable policies and procedures; assures safety standards are maintained. - Be able to secure equipment and various other construction supplies properly to DOT guidelines. - Completes daily inspections of equipment to ensure units are in good operating condition and reports problems to owner. - Maintains the cleanliness of assigned equipment. - Takes action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, utility lines, other equipment, and other workers. - Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal). - Works with and monitors fellow workers to ensure safety and productivity. - Meets attendance schedule with dependability and consistency. - Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within deadline. - Must have valid health card and can pass physical, drug screen and background check. - Must have valid commercial driver’s license and Class A endorsement.
