This job is for our summer season, which runs from June through September. However, because our company is growing, the applicant may be offered full time employment at the end of the season. Job Title: Bottling Plant Operator/Laborer Beginning Wage: $10.00 per hour Probationary Period: 180 workdays Job Status: Non-Exempt Qualifications:  High school education  Valid driver’s license and clean driving record  Mechanical aptitude  Ability to lift and carry 5-gallon water (45 lb) bottles  Ability to accurately complete simple laboratory testing  Ability to accurately complete simple log sheets  Ability to conscientiously and consistently follow standard operating procedures  Drug free, capable of passing routine blood and urine testing Responsibilities/Duties: Bottling Plant Operator operates company's 5-gallon bottling equipment and performs tasks necessary to ship product. Specifically this person: operates bottle washing and filling equipment, inspects bottles for damage and contamination prior to washing, performs simple laboratory tests to insure equipment and bottling process is operating properly, cleans equipment and warehouse at the end of the day, completes simple log sheets to maintain adequate records of the bottling process, loads full bottles onto pallets, operates shrink wrap machine, loads and unloads trucks, cleans and sanitizes equipment and warehouse, completes routine equipment and building maintenance tasks, and all other assigned duties. Applicants must be in good physical condition as this position requires repetitive lifting of 5-gallon full water bottles, each weighing 45 lbs.
