I have a brown husky mix I’m looking to rehome. I found him dumped on a backroad about 9 months ago, the vet estimated he was around 8-10 months old so he’s probably about a year and a half now. This is a VERY destructive dog; he has tore up my flooring, he shreds clothes, rugs on the floor, furniture, mail, you name it. He frequently poops in the house as well. We have tried everything we can think of; crate training, going on multiple walks a day to try to tire him out, and I just got him fixed last week. This dog will not stay in our fenced in backyard. He will dig holes under the fence and jump completely over the fence. We ended up putting a runner leash in the backyard and he has hung him self over the fence with his leash on about 3 times now and he’s lucky he didn’t kill himself. The neighbors have called the pound on him multiple times and animal control said if they get called again they will take him. He attacked my neighbors chickens and jumps on peoples cars when he escapes. He does get along great with our other dogs and our kids. I’ve never had a dog be so destructive and determined to escape and I want his new owners to be very aware of his behavior. He needs to go somewhere with a big privacy fence or out in the country. I really don’t want the pound to take him. I’m asking a $50 rehoming fee.
