Job Title: Automotive Buyer / Inventory Specialist Location: 4210 Gardner Ave FT/PT Status: Full-time Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am to 5:30pm Job Overview: Midway Auto Parts is seeking a Automotive Buyer / Inventory Specialist, to work at our facility. The ideal candidate will be the primary person to price our extensive part inventory. This candidate will need to be able to navigate the purchase of hundreds of wrecked vehicles every month as well as assist in the duties of inventorying vehicles for recycled parts sales. The candidate must have general knowledge of vehicles and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Requirements: - Must have some automotive mechanical and automotive body knowledge - Must be able to use a computer and navigate the internet - Must have entry level Excel skills or willing to learn - Actual body shop/estimating experience is a plus - Must be able to use smaller handheld devices - Must understand supply and demand - Open to change - Must be able to make quick decisions - Must be willing to learn and jump to any position in the company to help out - Must have good phone and good people skills - Forklift experience is a plus - Must have a license and be able to drive to auctions Skills and Knowledge: - Strong attention to detail is required. - Automotive Knowledge is a must!
