Experienced Fruit Inspector P/T We are looking for a fruit inspector based at our warehouse in McAllen TX. Our company has been importing avocados from Mexico for nearly 20 years and continues to grow, currently receiving between 10 and 20 loads per week. Our head office and sales team are remote so it is vital that we have someone at our warehouse we can rely on both for day-to-day activities and to react quickly whenever we have QC issues. Job Functions: • Inspect the load as soon as it is received into the warehouse. • Perform inspections as required. • Report back to us as soon as possible on the condition of the fruit. • Reports should be clear, concise, well organized, and contain images that we can send to our customers. • Travel to other warehouses in the area from time to time to assess fruit we are considering buying. Skills required: • Experience with avocados • Great with detail and numbers. • Competent on the computer. • Strong communication skills. • Strong organizational skills.
