I am a new graduate from Pitt Community College’s early childhood program. I am looking for work during the summer. I have a position lined up for the school year. I have been offering childcare with flexible hours for more than ten years. I finally decided to further develop my career by going to college for a degree in what I already loved doing. I offer educational opportunities everyday regardless of age. I offer trips to the library as well as a quite time during the day for reading; whether it is me reading to the child or the child reading to themselves if able. I understand this is the summer so do offer fun activities whether it is an outing to the park or enjoying limited television time throughout the week. My goal is to create a loving, nurturing environment in which the child can grow and develop into a well spoken, well educated individual. My priority is to develop a well rounded child who is give fun opportunities to learn traditional lessons taught in an education setting. I want the child/children in my care to want to learn because learning is fun, I intend to present material in a fun manner.
