Shop Technician CALIFORNIA CLOSETS, the leader in the custom storage industry, is seeking full-time shop help for our rapidly growing business in Post Falls. This is year-round indoor work. No experience needed BUT need to be willing to learn and be a hard worker. Hours: M-F 7am to 3:30pm during busy times, there may be overtime. Responsibilities • On/off-loading of the product from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for ten or more hours, daily. • Maintain regular and predictable attendance. • Operate company vehicles, tools and equipment in a safe and productive manner. • Partake in training programs as needed and required. Qualifications: • HS Diploma or GED; Trade or vocational school experience desirable (or in process of getting one or the other) • Ability to read, understand and interpret paperwork, labels and mathematical measurements including using a tape measure • Strong verbal and listening skills • Able to work individually and in teams • Able to provide high level of customer service • Experience with common hand and power tools • Forklift experience a plus but can train. • Ability to stand and be on feet for 8+ hour shift • Effectively communicate with leadership/Co-workers on any issues with material and/or mechanical breakdowns. • Detail Oriented in quality checking every piece of material • Maintain a safe and clean work area • Ability to lift up to 50lbs; reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb stairs, kneel, crouch • Competitive pay Starting at $16 to $18 per hour. • Paid vacation, personal days, paid holidays after probationary period **We also now offer Blue Cross of ID health care after 90days at a discounted price for all employees and their children** Please email resumes by replying to this ad.
