59-Yr. old covid-vaccinated Man, teacher for 20+ years, offering a small class for children in the West Mount Airy and Germantown sections of Philadelphia. Up to four students can learn the essentials of wooden toy-making in small, safe workshop in my home in West Mount Airy. Students will be able to make four toy kits during the month-long class session. Class will meet once per week, for a total of four, ninety-minute sessions. Toy kits include: Parachute men; Doll house furniture; Catapults; Shields; Sailboats; trucks and others. Tools used: Rasps; Files; hand-saws; hand-drills; screws; glue; sand-paper. No finishes provided. Only recycled hardwoods are used. All wood, tools, glue, and screws will be provided. Children must be at least eight or nine years old, and able to exert a measure of self-control using tools. COST- $75.00 for a four-week session, cash only. There is a friendly dog who lives in this apartment.
