Looking for a new family member

Our family is seriously looking to get a puppy or small dog (the breed). My mother and I are both technically disabled and would benefit greatly from the love of a baby/service animal (as would my 12 yr old daughter who suffers with depression). It's taken us over a year or more to even think about adding another family member, as our Chihuahua passed from a heart condition. 😢 :-( Does anyone know someone or somewhere to adopt? Thanks
