Lead Guitarist Needed for 90s Band – Gigs Booked!

Belding: The 90s Band is an established 1990s tribute with gigs booked through the end of 2021. With our original lead guitarist moving out of the region, we have the opportunity to bring in a talented new member, ideally for a permanent spot. Must be able to rehearse and gig in either location, with your own transportation. Genres: We play all genres of 90s music. If you turn up your nose at Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, or Garth Brooks, this may not be the project for you. Arrangements: We strive to be true to the original versions of each song, to the extent possible. If you enjoy figuring out how to play that weird little synth part, or adapting a trumpet solo for guitar, and collaborating with a rhythm guitarist, you’ll like playing with us. We do not use backing tracks or samples. Age: Our ages range from 36-50. Vocals: Backing vocals are a big plus, but not a requirement. Goals & Expectations: We have lives, jobs, and families and are under no delusions of grandeur. We tend to gig about once per month and rehearse as needed, efficiently. We’ll expect that you learn songs on your own time and come to rehearsal prepared and ready to go.
