Hi! I'm ISO a dog (preferably a GSD or Golden retriever but no bully breeds please) to give a home to in Sept. I know it's a few months away but I wanted to start searching now since it may take a while to find the right dog. I have a special needs child so I need a dog that is gentle with children and doesn't bark excessively. I love German shepherds and know a lot about the breed. I also know that calm, lower drive ones do exist so please, no lectures on how GSDs aren't a good choice. I'm open to other breeds as well. No puppies please unless he/she is older and happens to be laid back. I enjoy walking, hiking and going car rides so he/she will get exercise and have a lot of fun! I would like to do a meet and greet at least once to make sure the pup will be a good fit for my son. No outrageous rehoming fees please.
