Seeking hardworking individual with experience in lawn care & equipment operating Required Skills • Dependable - must show up on time every day • Proficient at driving a truck with trailer • Ability to operate & maintain commercial landscape equipment • Proficient at using a chainsaw • Well rounded with common sense • Enjoys working alone in all weather conditions Preferable skills but not required: • Operating heavy equipment • Construction experience • Mechanical skills Approximately 75% of workload will consist of maintaining apartment grounds at several locations in Greenville. Job to include but not limited to: • Mowing, edging, weedeating, planting and maintaining shrubs and flower beds & installing mulch or pinestraw The other 25% will include a wide variety of tasks ranging from: • Tree and brush removal (using chainsaw and skid steer) • Dirt moving (using tractor) • Hauling debris (driving dump truck - no CDL required) • Pressure washing • Maintaining various types of equipment (changing oil, filters, blades, greasing etc.) • Assisting with sawmill operations (stacking heavy lumber) • Running personal errands for owner (purchasing supplies etc.) Flexibility will be needed as assignments may differ from day to day. Position available immediately. Position is part time initially (20+ hours) with opportunity for full time position Starting pay $12 - $15 /hr depending on experience w/ possibility of bonuses.
