SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager and Director of Maintenance you will be responsible for providing effective and efficient commercial property repairs for various shopping centers. The essential function of the Maintenance Technician is to ensure all maintenance requests and work orders are completed in an efficient and timely manner. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Stud framing/Drywall • Floor-work including tile and laminate • Trim work including various moldings, turnings, and laminate applications • Completing Dry-Vit repairs, as well as repairs and finishing to various walk and roadways throughout properties • Performing routine inspections and maintenance on various locations, including vacant and/or occupied units, and other areas of the properties • Install and make repairs to interior wall and floor tiles and coverings made of various materials • Ability to work independently as well as follow directions and work well with others • Positive attitude. Flexibility to work overtime if required. • Plumbing, carpentry, drywall, minor air conditioning, repairs, renovation, and painting • Experience in electrical, photocell lights and light times a plus. • Must be able to push or pull 100 pounds and lift and/or carry 60 pounds. • Must be able to stand for eight hours, bend, stretch, reach, climb ladders, crawl, kneel and be low to the ground when necessary, sometimes for extended periods of time • Must be able to speak and read English (Bilingual a plus) • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions • Must display professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness always REQUIREMENTS: • Great customer service when dealing with clients daily • Able to respond thoroughly and quickly to all client complaints, concerns, and requests • A valid Driver’s license with 3 to 5-year history of good driving Florida Commercial Care is a Drug Free work place and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
