Job description Assistant Equipment Technician - Pinnacle Peak CC Duties Include: - Assist in the daily inspection, preventative maintenance, and servicing of all equipment - Maintain cutting units at the proper standard and adjust heights as needed to ensure the highest quality of cut on all turf surface. - Inspect equipment for deficiencies and report to equipment manager. - Oversee all equipment care and maintained in a proper manner as set out by the equipment manager - Possess basic knowledge of golf course equipment and maintain the ability to assist superintendent with staff training Salary: $17+/hr Depending on experience Benefits: Uniforms, health, vision, and dental after 90 days. 401K, Paid Lunch 40 HR PTO to start. 128 HR PTO after 1 year. Tools provided; training provided on every aspect of turf equipment. Requirements: - Working knowledge of gasoline, diesel, and small engines, the proper methods of servicing golf course equipment, and the repair and adjustment of mowing equipment. - Mechanical ability; ability to use mechanical tools. - Must be well organized, have a positive attitude, keep a clean work area, communicate well and be able to multitask. - Non-golf course mechanical experience will be Considered; training on specific golf course equipment will be provided. - Ability to speak Spanish a plus but not required Responsible to: Equipment Manager & Superintendent Or apply in person: Pinnacle Peak CC 8701 E.
