Following the 10:15 service on June 20th, we will be hosting a Parish Picnic. We will be providing boxed lunches for everyone who registers. Exciting things are happening at St. Philip’s, as we work to create the church of tomorrow. We are worshiping and serving in new ways, and the Holy Spirit is leading the way. We invite you to come and be a part of this new beginning! But, what about the picnic? Following the 10:15 service on June 20th, we will be hosting a Parish Picnic. While you will not have to register to attend worship on this Sunday, we will ask that you register to attend the picnic. Due to health concerns, this will not be a pot luck picnic. We will be providing boxed lunches for everyone who registers (you will be able to let us know about any dietary restrictions, when you register.) We will be gathering both in Wyatt Hall, and in the “back yard.” At the picnic, we will also be celebrating one of the ministries that have grown during the pandemic. June 20th is Sandwich Making Sunday (the third Sunday of each month), when St. Philip’s provides bagged lunches for the people at Elizabeth House. We will recognize the dedicated members of this ministry, who have continued to serve & grow during the shutdown. You might even be able to pitch in and make a few extra meals, for those who are in need. What an exciting time at St. Philip's!
