Hello. My name is Aidan. I live in Little Neck, NY, and I am seeking a piano teacher, preferably in the Little Neck area/in walking distance. I do not want to play competitively but rather for my own pleasure; still, I am very serious. I am very passionate about music and playing and have tried my best to learn what I can through self-teaching and online tutorials (especially the last year or two); however, it is clear that a personal teacher would suit me much better and help me stay driven. I am a young adult and understand that the older I get, the more difficult it will be without professional guidance and a systematic approach to learn correctly. I consider myself a beginner, and I cannot sight-read, nor am I familiar with music theory. I am very determined, and I hope to find a teacher willing to take me on despite my age and amateurism. I especially enjoy solo piano, particularly Jazz and Classical as well as Fusion. My favorite pianists/composers are *Jun Fukamachi*, *Vince Guaraldi*, Shigeo Sekito, Bill Evans, Japer Van't Hof, Jan Huydts, Lepo Sumera, Red Camp, Sven Libaek, Glenn Gould, Cyrille Verdeaux, Rogier van Otterloo, Cyrille Verdeaux, Piero Piccioni, Francis Lai, Christian Gaubert, Rick van der Linden, Armando Trovajoli, Patrick Moraz, and Käbi Laretei. Some of my favorite Classical composers are Bach, Chopin, Heino Eller, Debussy, and Otto Luening. (I also have interest in synthesizers, keyboard, and organ/electone) I am very excited to find a teacher for in-house/studio lessons.
