Come enjoy a beautiful summer afternoon with live music! Guataca means "play by ear" in caribbean slang, and that captures the essence of this quartet. Based in NYC, Cuarteto Guataca plays Salsa and Són Monuno classics straight from the heart. Led by bassist Josh Levine (New York City), the group is unusually potent because it features not one but two world class soneros or lead singers -- percussionist Jainardo Batista (San Juan, Puerto Rico) and flautist Jeremy Bosch (Ponce, Puerto Rico).
