Experienced Drummer Seeks Crafty Shoegaze / Rock / Dreampop Songwriter

So I’m a very experienced drummer. I’ve toured for many years and played with various different artists all over the world. I just moved to Portland 3 weeks ago and I’m very eager to start something from the ground up that’s going to build up into something exciting. I’m seeking a songwriter whom is very charismatic and crafty to create songs with that will lead to an actual band. The main influences I have in mind for this musical endeavor are My Bloody Valentine, Oasis, Alvvays, and Elastica. I’m not limited to strictly those influences, but I really want these songs to be super anthemic, catchy, cool, but also noisey as fuck at times. I also want this project to have a modern day aesthetic that definitely wears their influences on the sleeves. I’m not looking to do a weekend warrior type band where it’s just for fun and carefree. Please only reply if you’re completely serious about this and willing to eventually have this project become a full time endeavor. Something where we could eventually tour. Think like LA- NYC- Chicago-Philly- Europe-Japan-Australia and obviously the Northwest. I have recordings of an original project that I can share with you to give an idea of what I’m looking for as a reference.
