Counterpoint Management Corp. (aka All City Management) Maintenance Assistant – Part Time Fall River location POSITION OVERVIEW Counterpoint Management Corp. (“CM”) is an established owner and manager of high quality market rate and affordable housing for seniors and families based in Brookline with locations in Massachusetts. We are searching for a part-time Maintenance Assistant for our 125-apartment Section 8 housing for the elderly in our Fall River location. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the maintenance assistant is responsible to assure the proper operation and maintenance of grounds including snow removal, facility, electrical, mechanical and equipment in accordance with local, state, and federal building codes and to timely complete tenant and building work orders. The position will also answer emergency calls as required and help repair breakdowns in the property. Duties include turnover work, preventative maintenance, painting, ability to complete basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs. Rotating on-call duties are required. Experience with federal REAC inspections a plus. QUALIFICATIONS • Experience making minor repairs, electric, plumbing and hvac, and keeping grounds clean of debris. • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Wear any uniform that is provided during work hours. • Effectively handle resident service requests and work orders, correcting the situation within 24hrs when possible. • Promote positive, proactive resident relations by demonstrating fair and consistent treatment during all resident interactions. • Must be patient, flexible, organized, extremely reliable and enjoy working with seniors. COMPENSATION Hourly rate up to $17 commensurate with experience; great work environment START DATE Immediately
