Description
The goat kids are supporting the local production of Les Mis, and you can as well by trying out a yoga class with the goats! The goat kids are supporting the Bedford High School Theater Department, and you can as well by trying out a yoga class with the goats! Proceeds go directly to the theater department! We will enforced social distance requirements including the following: - Minimum 6 foot distance from other participants - Masks worn over mouth and nose at all times - Hands must be washed before and after class session - You will need to bring all your yoga equipment including your mat! The evening classes will take place outdoors on the farm and are suitable for all levels of yoga experience and all ages! Classes will be taught by Julie Aronis of Little Elephant Yoga. Bring your own mat, blanket, or towel but be prepared for the goats to potentially taste test everything! We recommend towels for easy cleaning as the goats are not potty trained. The yoga classes will take place outside in the evening so bring layers in case of colder weather or mosquitos. Don't have your own mat? We will have some available to borrow before each class! $25 class fee includes 50 minutes of yoga instruction with 10 minutes of goat cuddle and photos. There will be plenty of time to pet, hold, and take pictures with the goats throughout and after class. All ages are welcome! The class is suitable for all levels of yoga experience and will be led by one of our great yoga instructors. A ticket is required for each participant. Family members/friends are welcome to watch the class and take photos as long as they do not disrupt the class. Questions? Email [email protected] *Our Goat Yoga classes take place outdoors on the farm. If we have rain on the day of the class, we may need to cancel as the goats don't like the rain and nobody likes soggy goats! If we do cancel an email will go out to all attendees at least 1 hour before the start of class. We will also post any cancellations on the Goat Yoga at Chip-in Farm facebook page. The class will be rescheduled and participants will be automatically registered to the new class date. If you are unable to attend the rain date, you may either 1) ask for a full refund or 2) request a transfer into a different class with open registration.* **Attending this class is at your risk. This means we will follow all safety proticals set out by the Massachusetts, but it is your decision to attend this class. We hope to provide and enforce a safe and secure class for all to attend.** Chip-In Farm was named in 1944 when members of the Couvee family “chipped in” to purchase a small farm in Bedford. A visit to the farm today brings you back to a simpler time when food was local and farms were family run. The Farmer's Helpers program offers an authentic, process-based, and hands-on farm experience for the next generation. Through Farmer's Helpers participants are given the chance to develop confidence, build community, and learn to become better stewards of their land and environment.
