Guitarist looking to form an old school funk and r&b cover band. Goal is to put together some greasy sets and play out when the thing is polished up. Need drums, bass, vocals, keys possibly percussion and brass. Influences: Parliament Funkadelic, The Isley Brothers, Ohio Players, James Brown, Bootsy’s Rubber Band, Al Green etc. Maybe some Hendrix and Billy Cobham, or maybe some Crusaders and Minnie Ripperton, it depends on the interest and what’s realistic.
