Bassist wanted for doom/traditional heavy metal band. 5 or 6-string player and pick player preferred, as some of the material will get pretty fast and can be fairly technical. Guitarist, drummer, vocalist are in place. Focus will be on writing and recording original music with a view towards playing live. Bands for reference include Black Sabbath, Pentagram, Saint Vitus, Witchfinder General, Trouble, Candlemass, Solitude Aeturnus, Iron Man, The Gates of Slumber, Cirith Ungol, Manilla Road, My Dying Bride, Motorhead, Roth-era Scorpions and more. Practices held on Sunday afternoons in Red Bank. Practices are drug and alcohol-free, so keep that in mind. This is not a worship band. Unless you worship metal.
