Revisiting "The Veil Removed" According to the Pew Foundation only 1/3 of Catholics believe in the True Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist (transubstantiation) as taught by Catholic teaching. Even among “regular” Catholic Church attendees only 63% believe that Jesus is truly present in the consecrated host. The Magruder family has been instrumental in creating “The Veil Removed”, a short film on the True Presence. Joel Magruder will join us, show the film and give us an update on the mission of “The Veil Removed”. Also joining us will be Matt Willkom, the new Executive Director of Iowa Catholic Radio. Matt will give us an update on some new happenings at ICR. We sponsor meaningful and heartfelt talks from down-to-earth speakers who are authentic in their faith. In this way we minister to the entire spectrum of men by motivating those who are young in their faith, and encouraging those who are mature.Man-Up meets monthly at parishes around Des Moines for a meal, presentation, discussion, and fellowship.
