Empowered Women Empower Women. Empowered Women Empower Women. Come join the DSM-Western Suburbs Chapter of The Well Armed Woman! Our goal is to educate and empower women by providing opportunities to learn safe gun-handling skills in a friendly and fun environment. This is a wonderful opportunity to form new friendships and enjoy the sisterhood of The Well Armed Woman. We welcome women of all shooting abilities (No Experience through Experienced Shooters) who are 21 years of age and older. It is not necessary to own a firearm to attend meetings-rentals are available through our host range (Rangemasters Training Center). Safety is always the number one priority! We meet on the second Thursday of each month, from 5:30-8pm. We will discuss a different topic each month, have guided practice time on the range, and discuss additional ways to develop your skill set each time you step on the range. We welcome new visitors to share in one of our discussion times prior to joining. Only active/paid TWAW Shooting Chapter members may participate in range time.
