Do you love people and love plants? If so this is the job for you. The current position available is for a full time Plant Care Gardener in the South Lee County area. You must currently live in or around South Lee County. You must be able to SPEAK, READ and WRITE in English. The position can be physically demanding at times. Because of this, candidate must be able to perform varied physical tasks. Some of the physical tasks of this job include: prolonged periods of operating a motor vehicle, walking, standing and pushing/pulling carts and water tanks; grasping/use of pruners, scissors and other hand tools; carrying, lifting, filling and using water buckets; lifting, carrying and using step ladders; loading and unloading small plants, water tanks, materials and supplies into a vehicle; reaching overhead to trim and dust; crouching; bending; stooping; kneeling; loading and unloading small plants, material, supplies and other items into/out of your assigned vehicle. No experience is necessary but we are looking for someone who has a strong attention to detail, who believes that finishing the job RIGHT is better than just finishing the job. You need to enjoy active work and have the ability to work independently. You will receive extensive 30-day training with our Senior Gardener where you will learn step-by-step how to get excellent results with live potted plants. Our Gardeners use a company vehicle so A FLORIDA DRIVERS LICENSE AND A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS IS A MUST. Interior Plant Scapes is a Smoke-Free, Vape-Free, Drug-Free workplace.
