Get a yoga sesh in to set the tone for the day~ Mornings can be tough when there is nothing exciting to look forward to. For those of us who are lucky to be employed during this time, this may mean we are waking up, getting dressed, and immediately diving into work. For others, this may mean we wake up later because we're not bound by any commitments, but we end up feeling guilty that we have not been as productive as we'd like. In this yoga session, we invite you to join us on the mat to slow down and check in with yourself. How can you begin the day mindfully -- without rushing, without dread? In this class, our yoga instructor Shira will be guiding us through an early morning practice that sets the tone for the rest of our day. This event is sponsored by The Phoenix, a nonprofit organization that leverages community and fitness to lead a healthy lifestyle without substance use. We ask only one thing from our participants -- 48 hours of sobriety. To ensure a safe and healthy space, we ask everyone to wear a mask. We provide: Sanitized yoga mats (but you're welcome and encouraged to bring your own mat!)Extra PPE Community of shared experiences of wanting to lead a healthy lifestyle without drugsWe will be meeting at the outdoor lot of the address.
