Learn the basics of how Ace works including in our large spacious classroom/coworking area: How to get helpHow to find informationWhat the culture is in the different spacesWhat the social contract isExplore the sign up processThere will be time for questions and possibly a tour. Feel free to preview the presentation deck. It contains a lot of extra information and we really only go over the sections through Nuts and Bolts. When you arrive Follow the directions on the keypad and you will be buzzed in then follow the map to the Coworking room in suite 206. Preparing for the workshop Make sure to sign your paperwork. Please come in work clothes as butcher block oil can stain and you should be wearing closed-toed shop safe shoes. Basic COVID Safety applies and everyone is required to were a proper mask at all times. Learn more about Ace COVID safety procedures on the Ace Makerspace webpage. All proceed support Ace Makerspace and help us serve over 1200 people a year with innovative programs, equitable access to makerspace resources, more creative, self-reliant communities in Oakland. This event requires 2 RSVP's to run. If we don't have the rsvp's we will cancel the event and folks are welcome to come to the next workshop the following week.
