She weighs 9.5 lbs. She was a rescue from the shelter. She has a non-shedding coat that is an option for those who have allergies or simply want a dog who doesn't shed. She will require regular grooming. If you're looking for an affectionate, cuddly, cheerful non-shedding dog to be your lifelong companion, look no further! Sushi Roll is your girl! When Sushi Roll first arrived at her foster family's house, she was shy and scared and hid in tight spaces like under the bed and couch. The first night, she slept under her foster's bed and used one of the resident dog's soft toys as a pacifier. Gradually, she got used to the foster's house and started to come out of her shell. She is playful, affectionate and energetic and also loves to cuddle with you when you are resting. Sushi Roll loves to be baby talked and gets excited when you baby talk to her. She knows that doorbells mean new people and she's always happy to greet a new friend. She is affectionate and will ask to be picked up. Sushi Roll had a 10-pound maltipoo foster sibling who's uninterested in interacting or playing with other dogs. Sushi Roll has graciously given the maltipoo space and the two dogs coexist, but she could live with another dog or she could live by herself. She has excellent house manners: she is housebroken, does not beg for people food, and has not chewed on or wrecked anything in her foster family's house. Although housebroken, Sushi Roll isn't crate trained and will cry if she's crated. Routine: Sushi Roll eats twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. She enjoys walks three times a day and in-between walks, she enjoys lounging in a pile of blankets or soft toys. On her walks, Sushi Roll is a fast walker and is generally good on a leash, however, she does pull on the leash when she spots squirrels! Throughout the day she enjoys peeking outside to watch the neighborhood goings-on and isn't much of a barker. Sushi Roll's perfect forever home will be someone who wants a cuddly, loving lap dog. She hasn't been shown to be a nuisance barker and if given multiple regular daily walks, could thrive in an apartment or condo setting. Overall, Sushi Roll quite adaptable, and she's ready to jog, play, or cuddle at whatever speed you are! She will make the perfect addition to a family ready for an affectionate, non-shedding dog and prepared to keep up with this gal's grooming and all the cuddles she wants to dole out!
