LEVITTOWN, NY — A crash involving a car and a motorcycle is causing traffic delays on Hempstead Turnpike. According to police, a call came it at 1:53 p.m. Thursday for a crash at the intersection of Hempstead Turnpike and Wolcott Road in Levittown. Photos from the scene show a car with its front-end severely impacted and a damaged motorcycle not too far away. Police have closed the road nearby. Police did not have the details of the crash at this time. It was unclear if anyone was injured.
