Need help creating a Video in 'Final Cut'

I am with the Knights of Columbus a Fraternal Catholic Men's Group I am trying to create/put together a Video for Parties. I am trying to learn Final Cut myself, but would at this time like some to guide me through the ropes of putting clips together. I would appreciate any help in the project.
