GREEN BAY, WI — Packers' tight end Jace Sternberger will sit out the first two games of the 2021 season. The NFL said that Sternberger was suspended without pay for two games for violating the league's policy on substance abuse, reported Packers Wire. He will miss games against the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions. But he would be able to return for a game against the San Francisco 49ers. Steinberger will be able to participate during the offseason, training camp and the preseason, the report says. The Packers' regular season starts Sept. 12.
