We’re 1UP Floors, an apartment floor company that’s changing what people expect from an apartment floor company. Business is booming! It’s time to bring on more hands in our warehouse to handle, cut, and stage material. This is what a WOT does. What’s a WOT you say? WOT stands for Warehouse Operations Trooper. You will play a critical role in the day to day operations of our company. Before we talk about what you need to be able to do for the job, let’s first talk about what kind of person you have to be on the inside, in order to call yourself a 1UP’er. What it takes to be a 1UP’er: Integrity...look up the definition, cause that's what we mean. A burning desire to make anything you touch better than it already was. "Go juice", the stuff that makes people get more done. Lazy peeps don't have it. Hunger...for the job, accolades, results, income growth, and personal growth. We want people who want more out of life and aren't afraid to do what it takes to get it. Yup...that’s the minimum we expect from each and every 1UP’er, every day, day in and day out...no excuses. If you don’t live those values, the rest of the team eventually finds out. Our WOT needs to be all that and then some. You handle all the material that gets sent out on jobs with our Elite Installers, that in turn gets installed for our Relentlessly Loyal Customers. Then please...continue reading. What you need to already have: Work ethic. With this, you shall go far in life...and 1UP. A Firm grasp of basic math. You’ll be precisely cutting lot’s of expensive floors with a giant machine. Fork lift XP, or a strong desire and ability to learn how in short order. Muscles and the inclination to use em. The job has periods of physical demand. You’ll need to be able to repeatedly lift/move stuff that weighs around 50lbs. Eye for details. They say “the devil is in the details”...and they would be right. That’s why you pay close attention to them, so they don’t get outta hand. Reliability. Your friends and family count on you to do what’s expected without excuses. We will too. Sense of humor. It just makes working with you easier. Valid Drivers License. We’ll send you to pick up more flooring stuff from time to time. Integrity.
