The Boothe Memorial Railway Society will begin our Saturday open houses this summer from June through August, the exception is on Sat. July 3rd. Our Saturday summer hours we will be open are from 1pm to 4pm. Admission is free! BMRS operates Connecticut’s LARGEST public outdoor garden train layout! The Boothe Memorial Railway Society has FIVE indoor operating train layouts from “N”, “HO”, “O”, “S” and “G” scale which will be on display. It’s great fun for engineers of all ages. Our indoor layouts allow for visitor interaction with numerous features that are enjoyable to see and experience. The indoor museum layouts will always be operating, yet inclement weather may limit our outdoor trains on CT’s largest public garden train layout ! Our COVID-19 indoor/outdoor policy will be the same as the current Connecticut state guidelines. Our museum is nationally recognized and has been featured in several periodicals as well as on local News channels. The Boothe Memorial Railroad Society is located in Boothe Memorial Park at 5800 Main Street in Stratford which has convenient access from the Merritt parkway. Admission is free!
