Libraries – closed Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19
Garbage, recycling and bulk waste collections – As scheduled (holiday does not impact solid waste collections)
Recovery Operations Center (i.e., landfill) – closed Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19
Peninsula Regional Animal Shelter (serves the residents of Newport News, Hampton, Poquoson and York County) – open regular hours (holiday does not affect shelter operating schedule)
