ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned. *Develop lesson plans and instructional materials necessary to provide individualized and small group academic and social-emotional instruction appropriate for the needs of students.*Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to achieve an effective learning environment.*Identify student needs and make appropriate referrals, develop strategies for individual education plans, work with the assistance of district specialists as appropriate.*Provide individualized and small group instruction; adapt the curriculum to the needs of students.*Facilitate school-based RTI team meetings and other meetings requested by principal. Meet with administration and school counselor on a regular basis.*Organize and maintain school RTI paperwork.*Support and collaborate with classroom teachers on student data and related RTI paperwork.*Assess and evaluate the accomplishments of students' academic and social growth and keep appropriate records; provide progress reports as requested.*Provide training to staff on assessments, interventions, reviewing data or other appropriate content related to the position.*Communicate with parents, colleagues and administration.
