Landscaping and Yard Cleanup Workers Needed

Hiring workers to perform landscaping and yard cleanup work at a house in near the intersection of I-25 and East Hampden Avenue (Southeast Denver) on Friday, 6/11/2021. Exact address will be given upon hiring. Duties include pruning trees and shrubs, weeding, clearing brush, cleaning out planting beds, removing debris, etc. The goal is to get the exterior of the house looking as good as possible. Appropriate clothing is strongly advised (long pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat, work boots, and gloves). I will provide the hand tools and various supplies necessary for the job (rakes, shovels, pruners, trash bags, etc.); you are also welcome to bring your own. The pay is $15/hour, paid in cash at the end of the work day. Must be physically capable of lifting 75 pounds by yourself. This is moderately hard exterior cleanup work and you should be aware of that before responding to this job posting. The work day starts promptly at 9:00am; not 9:05, 9:15, or whenever you finish your coffee. If you show up after 9:00 there will not be a job for you. There will be a break for lunch from 1:00-1:30pm, and then the work resumes until we are finished. Plan to bring lunch, water, and any refreshments you may need during the day. You must have reliable transportation to the jobsite. If interested, please respond to this posting with a contact number where I can call you so that we can have a conversation prior to hiring. We have to have a two-way conversation, over the telephone, as part of the hiring process. Preference given to people can take direction, who communicate well, who have prior landscaping/yard cleanup experience, who show a willingness to work, who don’t make excuses, and who aren’t addicted to their smartphones. I treat people fairly and expect to be treated fairly in return. I'm looking for responsible, motivated, hard-working individuals who can listen to and follow directions. If you show up smelling of weed, are stoned, drunk, or hungover you will be sent home. If you are glued to your smartphone involved in endless texting/Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/SnapChat/TikTok crap with your friends while you are supposed to be working, you will be asked to leave immediately. On the flip side, if you prove to be a good worker, I have an endless stream of work for you all along the Front Range and will hire you for many, many jobs (at an increased wage). NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE JOB SITE, NOT EVEN IF CONFINED TO YOUR VEHICLE. Leave your dog at home or with a friend.
