WOONSOCKET, RI — Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday afternoon following a crash involving a Woonsocket police officer, reported ABC6 News. Police say an officer was responding to a disturbance call when they collided with another car at Park Avenue and Bernon Street. Both drivers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, but have since been treated and released. The crash remains under investigation.
