Bass player looking to find or start a band

I'm 33, have been playing bass for 20 years and would love to find some local musicians to practice, record and/or play shows with. I like playing most styles of music and would be fine just improvising over jazz or bluegrass charts, but am also getting into production and very interested in finding musicians to collaborate on original music with. Some genres I enjoy playing are funk, blues, alternative or indie rock, EDM, bluegrass, dub, reggae, or even just experimental music with no intended style. I'm open minded and definitely able to come up with musical ideas (especially with the right people to brainstorm with.) Let me know what instrument(s) and type of music you're interested in playing; we might be able to make it happen.
