PPGL stands for pre-painted galvalume steel, and it is steel that has been coated by Galvalume, a trademark name of Bethlehem Steel since 1972. This coating uses a mixture of aluminum, zinc and a few trace elements 5 of in the ratio of 55:43.4:1.6. It gives you smoother finish than galvanized steel or PPGI.
