Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 06/10/2021    On Thursday June 10, 2021 at around 4:30am officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash on I-75 SB near the Peachtree Battle Ave overpass. On scene officers found a three-vehicle accident with injuries. The preliminary investigation found that a Dodge pickup truck was traveling south on the interstate when it was rear-ended by a Hyundai Elantra. After the initial collision the Dodge pickup struck the barrier wall and a third vehicle, another pickup, struck a large piece of debris from the collision. The driver of the Hyundai was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The other two drivers had minor injuries and were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The Accident Investigation Unit responded and will lead the investigation.   Please keep in mind this information is preliminary and may change as new facts are discovered.
