Description
CHAD & TULIP
Chad, 2-years-old, arrived at the shelter with his buddy Doug; both had been dumped as kittens on a rural property. When they were allowed to roam free in the shelter Doug ventured out to explore leaving Chad on his own. Fortunately Chad found a friend in another timid kitty Tulip; she had been rescued from a hoarding situation.
Both cats being so scared and anxious at the shelter were placed in a foster home; their understanding foster mom is keen on helping them get over their fears and learn to trust people. They are friendly kitties, just skittish.
Tulip, 3-5 years old, is the boldest of the pair and will be the last to duck under the bed when strangers appear. She's getting fond of body pets, especially the back rubs. Chad is loveable and briefly enjoys being picked up and cuddled. He's extremely verbal, chatting with Tulip and his foster mom.
This special pair needs a kind and caring family who can provide a calm and quiet home and who are willing to work on their socialization. It will take lots of love and tender care but patience does have its rewards, you'll see!
