Found a cat after the thunderstorm on Tuesday 6/8. Long hair, gray with white around the mouth, believe to be female, adult maybe 5-10 yrs old. Was in the traffic lane by Yankee Lanes bowling alley, wet but unharmed, was reluctant to leave the road. She (?) has been in my house since Tuesday, friendly but with a loud hiss if bothered.
Took her to the Humane Society Wednesday for a chip scan, none found, no collar. This does not appear to be a feral cat - ears are clean, eyes are clear, fur very soft. I would REALLY like to find her family. Posters have been put up in the neighborhood where found.
