Full-service flooring company in Santee looking for Warehouse Assistant. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter who can take direction but also think quickly and proactively to help us provide outstanding customer service and organization at all times. This person will report directly to our Warehouse Manager. Duties will include but not limited to: -Daily pickups from our vendors and suppliers -Deliveries to customer’s homes as needed -Painting base or other materials required for jobs - Organizing and cleaning warehouse on weekly basis -Inventory checks on weekly and monthly basis -Loading up installers or customers picking up materials at warehouse -Keep warehouse swept, organized, and all materials clearly marked -Organize/mark all returned job materials appropriately -Organize carpet/vinyl inventory by stock, ordered, or remnants -Check measure rolls -Help with showroom projects/needs as necessary Qualifications: The skills and abilities we’re seeking include: -Must be 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED -Must have CA Driver’s license -Must have clean driving record- you will be driving several company vehicles/trucks -Must pass drug test prior to employment -Floor Covering experience a plus but not required -Forklift driving experience a plus but not required -Time management skills for juggling multiple deadlines and duties What we are offering: -$13.00 per hour -Part Time 15-20 hours a week, Day/hours to be decided, Flexible -Own transportation to and from work- company vehicle provided for daily duties as needed About Us: We have long been regarded as the premier flooring store in San Diego County.
