We are seeking a full time employee with some experience in repair and maintenance for small equipment(s). Must be able to lift 45 lbs. Must be flexible with time. Must have very good communication skills. Negotiation skills is a plus. Job Summary: At Chick-fil-A, the Facilities Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for creating and executing systems to clean and maintain facilities and equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will perform general maintenance and cleaning of the facilities. This specialist will be ensuring and maintaining a high level of store appearance and will stay in tune with new equipment and facility rollouts. Supervisory Responsibilities: · None Responsibilities Include: · Ensures assigned equipment is in proper working order and available for use. · Respond promptly to requests for facilities-related repair work · Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment. · Receives, manages, and processes work order requests; ensures problems are resolved quickly. · Acts as liaison between the operator, employees and any outside vendors/contractors as it pertains to all things facilities and equipment needed to resolve specialized problems to equipment. · Drafts and implements preventive maintenance schedules for buildings and equipment. · Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility. · Maintains inventory of supplies; reorders as needed. · Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: · A positive attitude · Have passion for excellence in cleanliness and tidiness · Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment · Ability to work and move with a sense of urgency · Repair or custodial experience (preferred) · Excellent verbal and written communication skills · Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software necessary to create and maintain reports and logs · Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Education and Experience: · 1-2 year of related or janitorial experience required. (small wares repairs knowledge a plus) Job Requirements: Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and facilities.
