EXPECTATIONS This person is expected to be responsible for inspection of products during processing, label products, cover product, package in secondary container (if needed), palletize, label pallets, shrink-wrap, weigh pallet quantity and document all information on production shift records. The candidate must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, the ability to follow direction, timely and efficient manner. Candidate is required to follow and abide by Western States Packaging, Federal, State and Local laws, regulations and policies. The Candidate will ensure conformity to Quality, Safety and Legality. OVERVIEW OF POSITION Maintain production areas to be clean and organized; Remove finished product and perform the following duties: Document and record product/roll information Inspect product (reassure all specifications are met) and save sample for Quality Assurance (per roll or as directed): Weigh/Scale finished Roll/Case; Label Core Cover finished product; Box finished product, if necessary Palletize Label Pallet Shrink Wrap Scale Document and Inventory finished pallet Maintain cleanliness, organization and ensure finished cases and pallets are in good condition; Work closely with Production Shift Manager and Production Schedule to reassure that proper blend and information is correct; Document all record information required on Production Shift Report; Keep all pallets in good condition; ***Keep all required documentation and records organized, updated and turn into the office personnel at a timely manner. OTHER DUTIES Verify pallet weights and document. Assist office personnel with any required needs. Position may entail working with other departments, assisting raw materials, deliveries and/or working with 3rd parties with direction from management. Any task assigned by Management. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITY Ability to work in fast pace environment. Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization. Read a Ruler. Ability to lift over 60 lbs. Basic Computer Skills. Basic Math Skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus. Standing for long periods of time. ' EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High School Diploma 3 or more years of experience in Warehouse and/or manufacturing industry preferred. Mixing and Blending (Food Processor), preferred. Forklift experience and certification preferred. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
