Only applicants who submit their application online will be considered. Please submit via: PJS is looking for a part-time bilingual (English/Spanish) Recruiting Assistant to join our growing team. The Recruiting Assistant will be primarily tasked with supporting our hiring and new employee onboarding process, including new hire presentations and various administrative tasks. The Recruiting Assistant will work closely with the PJS recruiter in the recruitment and job placement of entry-level part-time cleaners throughout Austin. The ideal candidate is reliable, computer savvy, multi-tasker, detail oriented, highly organized, has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously with a sense of urgency. Responsibilities: •Assist job candidates with various stages of the application process. •Update and maintain recruiting and lead database. •Conduct phone screens of prospects candidates and leads. •Cold call potential leads and follow up accordingly. •Schedule interviews for recruiter. •Manage schedule screening candidates (in person and virtually) •Present new hire orientation in both English and Spanish. •Perform data entry, and reporting as needed •Perform other duties as assigned Schedule: Monday-Thursday 12pm to 6pm; Friday 11am-5pm. Position is primarily based in our north office (Braker Lane), with one day working from our south office (W Oltorf St.) Dates and times are flexible for the right candidate. Qualifications: •Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar office role. •Must be bilingual in English and Spanish. •Experience working with MS Office Suite (Excel, outlook, word, PowerPoint). •Must be comfortable speaking with people of various backgrounds. •Must be self-driven, motivated, and able to work with little supervision. •Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Spanish fluency is a must. •Excellent interpersonal skills. •Ability to work independently as well as in a group environment. •Must have the ability to maintain a high degree of discretion when dealing with confidential information. Preferred Qualifications: •Experience working in human resources and/or recruiting •Experience with applicant tracking systems •Sales experience, preferred but not required To start working for PJS, candidates will need to present valid documentation that verifies their eligibility to work legally in the US. They must also be able to pass a 7-year criminal background check once a conditional job offer has been received. We are looking to move forward and fill this position quickly. Starting pay is $16 per hour (depending on experience).
