Covid impacts our families in many ways, including marriage. If you are considering divorce, this course is for you. A team of divorce professionals explain the legal, financial, and emotional issues of divorce and the process choices you have: self-representation, mediation, collaborative divorce, and traditional representation. A lawyer talks about legal aspects: child custody and parenting, child and spousal support, property division and legal costs. A financial specialist covers common financial issues related to divorce including gathering information, dividing property, real estate, and tax issues. Mental health professionals discuss the emotional aspects, the impact on children, and how to tell children. Participants comment that they feel less anxious and more empowered to make an informed divorce process choice and move forward. The Santa Clara County workshop meets via Zoom the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10 AM – 12 PM. RSVP to: .
