Description
Mountain Vista Communities, the Fort Huachuca Housing/Maintenance Company, is looking for a dependable Quality Assurance Inspector. This person is also required to perform move-in and move-out inspections with residents. Maintenance experience is required. Property management experience preferred. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm, however must be able to occasionally work extended hours and some weekends.
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing household inspections upon move-in or move-out. Candidate must be able to enforce policies, including assessing household damages and charges. He/She performs compliance walks with Army Partners, assures safety, makes various repairs to homes as needed. He/she should have excellent time management skills as well as strong communication and customer service skills. Maintenance experience required. Property management experience preferred. This position requires a considerable degree of initiative and independent judgement within procedural boundaries when responding to a variety of residents and situations.
Required Qualifications:
• At least 1-year maintenance experience
• Property management experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Experience with computer systems, including typing, email, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn web-based platforms
• Capacity to operate independently and resourcefully, taking initiative and exercising own judgment for majority of work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-tasking, and prioritizing duties
• Ability to present a professional appearance
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must have valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to pass drug and background check
